This Friday, May 16, Excelsior College will launch the Center for Game and Simulation-Based Learning with an event at the Rayburn House Office Building in Washington. DC. The center, which is led by founding director, Dr. David Seelow, aims to take the lead among online colleges in promoting and integrating games and simulations into the educational curriculum.
The launch event will include three presentations focusing on the disruptive nature of games and their potential impact on the educational and learning process. The keynote address – Games, Curiosity and the Future of Education – will be delivered by Dr. Jesse Schell, CEO, Schell Games, and distinguished professor of entertainment technology at Carnegie Mellon University.
